Making Your Home Sing: Closets And Cupboards And Drawers, Oh My!
Welcome to the Making Your Home Sing Monday meme! Every day you are doing something to make your house into a home for yourself and your family (if you have one). My point with each Monday post is, what are you doing or going to do today to make your home sing?
It can be an attitude or an action. Motivation, our attitude, baking, encouraging our husband or children (if we have either one), organization, cleaning, saving money....the opportunities are endless.
I had a "meme" post all ready to go but I just wasn't happy with it. So now I am meme-less!
However, I am never without at least something I can do, improve upon, or work on to make my home sing that week.
Last week I attacked a drawer. Ever have one of those drawers, cupboards or closets that seems full to overflowing? Well then you know exactly what I'm talking about.
I took everything out of the drawer with the intent of sorting through everything and then putting back only what I really thought I'd use.
Only I never sorted through it.
I never put any of it back either.
So my dining room looks like something exploded in there. Good thing we have an eat-in kitchen! So this week I have a few closets, cupboards or drawers that need my help.
What are you doing or going to do today to make your home sing? Please go here for instructions and/or ideas and come back here to link up to join us today! Please do not put your own "Making Your Home Sing Monday" Linky on your blog. As always, please don't forget to link to this post. Also, please don't forgot to leave me a comment!
If you want to use your blog header or profile picture, use the "from the web" button on your right (after you click to link up). My goal for this week is to continue to work on my closet it. It's of the walk-in variety but I haven't been able to walk in to it in a long time. After this weekend it is a "walk-in" again but now I need to work on the shelves.
Hi Ethel ;->
I thought of you yesterday afternoon... I got a clean glass out of the cupboard then the Pepsi out of the fridge. After pouring myself a glass full I tried to put the 2 liter of Pepsi away in the cupboard... o;-p I laughed out loud and verbally said, "Nan is going to laugh at this!"
I think God's at it again... your posting today combined perfectly with one of the things I was linking up.

I've got some of those piles to work through myself. Hubby is on 3rd shift this week, though, so I have no idea when I'll do it around his sleeping. I may be pulling some late nights!
We are cleaning out our basement...a huge undertaking! The utility room area has been emptied, and hubby began painting over the weekend. I have been sorting, giving away, and throwing away things.
We're hoping to get as much done as possible before mowing season starts. Lawn care is my hubby's second job. One that begins, I pretty much don't see him again until November. Sooo, we gotta get our rears in gear to finish before then! ;-)
Hi! I'm so glad you stopped by my blog and I saw you on my BlogFrog! I love your blog! We have a lot in common!
Thank you for your fun partay!
Blessings and joy to you today as you make your home!
HUGS!

Please don't even talk to me about my closets, cupboards, and drawers right now - they are so horrendous!! LOL! I just need to learn to tackle 1 drawer or cupboard at a time and not be overwhelmed by it. Hope you had a fabulous week! :)
